Poche e semplici regole: per tutto Luglio ho pubblicato una traccia al giorno, sei giorni a settimana. Al massimo due minuti di durata, al massimo un'ora e mezza per realizzarla.
Perchè l'ho fatto?
Sono in Sicilia per tutta l'estate, ospite di FARM Cultural Park (www.farmculturalpark.com), un posto nel quale l'ispirazione e gli input creativi scorrono continuamente. Questo disco è il mio mezzo per fissare un ricordo di questa esperienza, ciò che vedo, le situazioni che vivo e i legami che stringo, trasfigurando in suoni l'intensità di questi momenti unici.
Questo è quindi il mio diario, brevi appunti e istantanee rubate alla quotidianità, sensazioni e giornate rese in forma di musica.
Oltre a ciò, ho alcuni bellissimi strumenti nuovi, che voglio integrare nella mia musica e rendere espressivi al massimo, e un progetto del genere mi sembra un buon esercizio per arrivarci.
Terza e ultima motivazione, sono sempre meticoloso e selettivo quando produco, per una volta voglio sperimentare qualcosa di più immediato e grezzo: buona la prima, bene un solo suono, pochi elementi forti.
(PS: Sono qui a Favara senza le mie casse nè uno studio, ho prodotto solo in cuffia per cui mi scuso da subito se la qualità del mix non è al massimo, ma ovviamente per questa volta non è questo l'obiettivo.)

Through all July 2017 I created and released a new song everyday, six days a week, max two minutes length each, max 1:30 hours to complete every song. These are the simple rules of the game.
Why doing so?
I spent the whole summer in Sicily, in residency at FARM Cultural Park, and my purpose is to keep memories from all the beautiful places I'm visiting, the lovely people I'm meeting, and the important little moments spent in this unique place. So this is a musical diary, a collection of impressions framed into sound.
Moreover, I want to integrate some new instruments in my setup, and learn the best way to make them sound personal; last thing, I'd like to try a more free and raw approach to music, free from too many manipulations and reworks.
Hope you'll enjoy the listening.
PS I didn't have my studio monitors with me, the songs were mixed with headphones, that is a very bad way to mix a song, so please be patient if the sound quality won't be the best, but all in all this is definitely not the goal of this project.
